Board your Coral Expeditions vessel in Broome and begin your journey along the remote Kimberley coast.

Meet the expedition team, settle into your cabin and enjoy your first evening aboard as the ship heads north towards one of Australia's great wilderness regions.

Day 2 – Lacepede Islands

Explore the waters surrounding the Lacepede Islands, an important seabird breeding area off the Kimberley coast.

Depending on conditions and access, guests may have opportunities to observe seabirds and marine wildlife while learning about the ecological significance of these remote islands.

Day 3 – Horizontal Falls & Buccaneer Archipelago

Discover the remarkable Buccaneer Archipelago, a collection of islands and tidal waterways scattered across the Kimberley coast.

Explore the Horizontal Falls region, where enormous tidal movements force water through narrow gaps in the surrounding sandstone.

Experience Montgomery Reef, one of the great highlights of Kimberley expedition cruising.

As the tide falls, sections of the reef emerge above the water, creating cascading streams and channels. Expedition tenders provide an opportunity to observe this remarkable natural process.

Cruise into the Prince Regent River, one of the Kimberley's most impressive river systems.

Explore its spectacular sandstone scenery and visit King Cascade, where water spills over a series of natural terraces.

Day 9 – Vansittart Bay & Rock Art

Discover the remote landscapes around Vansittart Bay, known for its striking coastal scenery, historical sites and ancient rock art.

Guided visits provide insight into the region's long Aboriginal history and its later maritime and aviation heritage.

Day 10 – King George River & Falls

Travel along the magnificent King George River, where towering cliffs rise dramatically above the water.

The expedition may take guests towards the twin King George Falls, subject to tides, water levels and prevailing conditions.
