DAY 2 - KARLGOORLIE & COOK

Wake to the sunrise over Australia’s largest outback town, Kalgoorlie. This morning, explore the town’s rich history and vibrant present with a visit to its gold-rush heritage and the modern-day Super Pit mine. Choose from a range of Off Train Experiences, complete with morning refreshments.

Reboarding the train mid-morning for brunch, the remainder of the day is spent on board at your leisure. Sit back and enjoy the hospitality as you take in spectacular views of the seemingly endless expanse of the Nullarbor Plain. You'll cross borders and time zones, entering South Australia before dinner. Late evening, the train will pull into the almost-ghost-town of Cook for a nightcap and late-night bonfire experience under the Nullarbor sky.

DAY 3 - BAROSSA VALLEY

Spend the morning travelling through the pastoral lands and communities of remote South Australia as the Indian Pacific travels past the Flinders Rangers, Spencer Gulf and the Adelaide Plains.

Breakfast and lunch are both served on board. Mid-afternoon, the train pulls into Long Plains, where you'll disembark and transfer in comfortable coaches to the world-renowned, wineproducing region of the Barossa Valley. You'll spend the evening at Seppeltsfield Estate, delighting in a signature dining experience in the vintage cellar, exclusive to Indian Pacific guests.

A 'Firing of the BarreP display is part of the evening, as well as a food and wine pairing curated by Executive Chef Owen Andrews, highlighting regional produce and traditional methods that reflect the story of the Barossa. Here, Platinum guests are also treated to a special 100-yearold tawny tasting experience. After dinner, you'll return to the Indian Pacific, continuing your rail journey through the night.

Art lovers can channel their creativity at the Pro Hart Gallery with a ‘paint and sip’ session, creating a personal masterpiece in Pro’s original studio. Food enthusiasts can join Chef Lee Cecchin at the Living Desert State Park to discover native plants, taste spices, and take part in a mini pavlova cook-off at The Old Salt Bush restaurant. For something completely different, enjoy a lively main street tour with Shelita Buffet, Queen of the Outback.

After returning to the train for lunch, watch the scenery unfold as the Indian Pacific makes its way through regional New South Wales. Tonight, enjoy your final onboard dinner as you savour your last night of this incredible Australian rail journey.
